Bear Valley Springs Tennis Facility consists of 4 lighted Tennis Courts, 2 Pickleball courts, a hitting wall, and a Tennis Gazebo. We feature Premier’s Cushion Sport Surface that makes play easier on the knees and back. The Tennis Professional is on site Monday through Thursday and Saturdays from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
Rick Lund is our on staff Tennis Professional. Rick has 34 years of teaching experience with juniors and adults of all levels, 11+ years at Bear Valley Springs Association, and 10+ years as a certified USPTA Teaching Professional. He is also certified with USRSA for racquet stringing. Rick holds the position of the Tehachapi High School Boys Varsity Coach for 2 years. Both years they finished as SSL Co-champions. Rick played 2 years at Bakersfield Collage and 3 years at Varsity Tennis at North Bakersfield High School and in 1979 was High School All-American. In 1979 Rick was #4 ranked in Kern County in the 18 and under division.

Fees:
- Lessons: $10.00 - $40.00 (group and private)
- Ball Machine Rental: $5.00 per hour
- Pickleball Equipment Rental (4 paddles and 2 balls): $5.00
- Gazebo Rental (for private parties): $25.00
- Racquet Stringing: $15.00 - $45.00
Oak Tree Tennis Club (OTTC):
The Oak Tree Tennis Club promotes interest in tennis oriented activities. The cost for a year membership is $20.00 for a single or $25.00 for family. To join the club please contact Rick Lund, BVSA Tennis Professional (747-0613) or the Club President, Tom Shea (821-1197 or 805-0760.)
